Edinburgh's Christmas - Bar Logistics Team


As a Bar Logistics team member you will be responsible for ensuring our bars are set up with everything they need to serve. You will coordinate stock movements between multiple bars, accept and put away deliveries in our cellars and store rooms and work directly with the bar team to make sure drinks are flowing and customers are having a great time. We expect hard graft and an ability to work in a team with new people, creating a great working environment conducive to an amazing experience.

This role requires you to be flexible and mature, it involves lifting kegs and moving stock around.

You must be 18+ to apply for the role and available to work across the festive period.

Rates of pay start from £12 per hour

    We're looking for enthusiastic and experienced team members to join our site carpenters and Site Managers to help on the get out of Edinburgh's Christmas and Hogmanay.

    We're interested in hearing from you if you have experience in construction/carpentry/festival or event building/fencing and scaffolding and painting as well as plant operators or build crews. Roles are offered on a contract basis and run on varying dates between 28th October and 23rd November 2024, and then again between 4th January and 17th January 2025.

    Roles are paid dependent on skill set and experience but are no less than £13 per hour.

    We have a limited amount of positions that run the duration of the season as Site Assistants who help keep the site running and are involved in general maintenance and management of the sites with our Site Managers.

    Bars are an essential part of the Edinburgh's Christmas experience, between the 15th of November 2024 and 4th of January 2024 As a bar team member, you will be on the front line, serving drinks and making our customers day. This role is vital. We expect hard graft and an ability to work in a team with new people, creating a great working environment conducive to an amazing experience. This role requires you to be flexible and mature. Your focus will be on making drinks, dealing with stock, keeping the bar and venue clean, working with other departments and being friendly to customers.

    Staff are required to be 18+ due to the licensed nature of our sites, and have a legal right to work in the UK, no Visas are able to be offered for these roles.

  • Edinburgh's Christmas - Ice Marshals

    We're looking for keen ice skaters who are confident on the ice and have a background in, or can demonstrate customer service skills! You will be key in the effective operation of our Ice Rink on George Street, and provide help and support to those on the ice and be a part of our customer service team off the ice as well.

    Rates of pay are depending on the level of experience you demonstrate but range from £12 to £14.00 per hour.

EDINBURGH 31ST JULY - 26TH AUG 2024

 

In 2023 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, a total of 868 artists came from 27 countries to perform with Assembly Festival at the world's largest arts festival.  Our programme featured a total of 3,940 performances, with over 453,000 tickets being issued to 204 shows. They were supported by a team of over 650 Assembly Festival staff, all of whom were paid at least the UK real Living Wage.  Assembly Festival’s award-winning programme garnered over 3,290 stars from the media, more stars than are present on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
