Edinburgh's Christmas 2025 - Ice Marshals

We're looking for keen ice skaters who are confident on the ice and have a background in, or can demonstrate customer service skills! You will be key in the effective operation of our Ice Rink on George Street, and provide help and support to those on the ice and be a part of our customer service team off the ice as well.


Roles are available in Edinburgh from Mid November until 4th of January 2026 and applicants must have availability over the festive period.

Rates of pay are depending on the level of experience you demonstrate but range from £12.60 to £13.60 per hour.

    We are looking for friendly, Christmas-loving Elves to assist Santa to welcome children and families to the grotto at Edinburgh’s Christmas. You'll entertain children of all ages and help them to experience the joy of Christmas by creating a magical atmosphere at our Santa’s Stories attraction.

    We are looking for superstar Bar Team Members and Logistics

    Bars are an essential part of the Edinburgh's Christmas experience, between the 15th of November 2025 and 4th of January 2026 As a bar team member, you will be on the front line, serving drinks and making our customers day. This role is vital. We expect hard graft and an ability to work in a team with new people, creating a great working environment conducive to an amazing experience. This role requires you to be flexible and mature. Your focus will be on making drinks, dealing with stock, keeping the bar and venue clean, working with other departments and being friendly to customers.

    Staff are required to be 18+ due to the licensed nature of our sites, and have a legal right to work in the UK, no Visas are able to be offered for these roles.

    Bars are an essential part of the Edinburgh's Christmas experience. As a bar team member, you will be on the front line, serving drinks and making our customers day. This role is vital. We expect hard graft and an ability to work in a team with new people, creating a great working environment conducive to an amazing experience. This role requires you to be flexible and mature. Your focus will be on making drinks, dealing with stock, keeping the bar and site clean, working with other departments and being friendly to customers. Bar team members may be expected to support the bar logistics operations with seeing in early morning deliveries.

  • Edinburgh's Christmas 2025 - Build & Site Team
    Apply before 6:00pm on Friday, 31st October 2025

    We're looking for enthusiastic and experienced team members to join our Site Managers to help on the build of Edinburgh's Christmas Sites.

    We're interested in hearing from you if you have experience in construction/carpentry/festival or event building/fencing and scaffolding and painting as well as plant operators or build crews. Roles are offered on a contract basis and run on varying dates between 27th October and 23rd November 2025, and then again between 5th January and 18th January 2026. There may be potential for some work across our Hogmanay events and being part of the Christmas team means you will be in our contact pool should we require more crew.

    Roles are paid dependent on skill set and experience but are no less than £13.60 per hour.

    We have a limited amount of positions that run the duration of the season as Site Assistants who help keep the site running and are involved in general maintenance and management of the sites with our Site Managers.

    Roles for supervisors are £14.50 per hour.

  • Edinburgh's Winter Festivals 2025 - Box Office/Ticketing Team & Supervisors

    You will be part of a well-trained team who have a thorough knowledge of the ticketing system and our Winter Festival programme. As a member of the Box Office team, you will be an important and skilled team member able to resolve customer queries, advise and direct customers. You will have a professional manner, be a people person and happy to gather and organise information for our customers, providing unbeatable customer service at this front-line position.

    The Box Office Assistants main goal is to ensure the customer receives the highest quality service and in assisting the smooth operational running of the box office, making sure staff are fulfilling their duties to the best of their ability. The work will include event site box offices for Edinburgh's Christmas and handling customer queries whilst also supporting the box office operation via email queries and ticketing across all Edinburgh Winter Festival events.

    Roles are available in Edinburgh from Mid November until 4th of January 2026 and applicants must have availability over the festive period.

    We are hiring for Box Office Team and Supervisor Roles.
    Box Office Team roles are paid at £12.60 per hour, paid fortnightly in arrears. Box Office Supervisor roles are paid at £14.50 per hour.

Edinburgh's Winter Festival 

 

Edinburgh City Centre - 15th November 2025 - 4th January 2026

 

We have presented Edinburgh's Christmas and Hogmanay activations since 2022, and Edinburgh’s Christmas welcomed over 2.8m visitors in 2024 to enjoy a spectacular programme of festive fun in the city.

 

This year Edinburgh's Christmas will include seven weeks (49-days) of seasonal fun across Edinburgh’s city centre, including Traditional Christmas Markets, Funfair Rides, Big Wheel & Around the World Starflyer, Ice Rink, Santa’s Stories, Polar Ice Bar and more.

 

Edinburgh's Hogmanay will once again include the Torchlight Procession, Concert in the Garden featuring Wet Leg, the world famous Street Party and First Footin events acorss 4 days of celebrations to celebrate the New Year.
