Roles are available in Edinburgh from 03-31 August to cover the Fringe Festival and other events that we operate across the summer. All roles are fixed-term, PAYE seasonal contracts.
Roles are paid the Real Living Wage at a minimum of £13.45 per hour, paid fortnightly in arrears.
Staff are required to be 18+ due to the licensed nature of our sites, and have a legal right to work in the UK, no Visas are able to be offered for these roles.

Edinburgh Fringe 2026 - Street Team Supervisor

Assembly Festival is one of the longest-running and most prestigious multi-venue operations at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, presenting an eclectic, high-quality programme of theatre, comedy, music, cabaret and more. We welcome audiences from all over the world and pride ourselves on delivering an unforgettable festival experience.
As a Street Team Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in leading, motivating, and supporting Assembly Festival’s Street Team. You will ensure the successful execution of flyering, audience engagement, and ticket-driving activity across the festival. You’ll be a proactive and organised leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for live performance and excellent people skills.
Roles are available in Edinburgh through August to cover the Fringe Festival and other events that we operate across the summer. All roles are fixed-term, PAYE seasonal contracts.
Roles above are paid the Real Living Wage at a minimum of £15.25 per hour, paid fortnightly in arrears.

Edinburgh Fringe 2026 - Build & Break / Site Crew

We're looking for enthusiastic and experienced team members to join our site carpenters and Site Managers to help build and break the Festival as well as experienced site crew for the run!
We're interested in hearing from you if you have experience in construction/carpentry/festival or event building/fencing and scaffolding and painting as well as plant operators or build crews. Roles are offered on a contract basis and run on varying dates between June an July for the build and late August to September for the break.
There are additional site crew roles based on a full time rota across the festival.
Roles are paid dependent on skill set and experience but are no less than £13.45 per hour.

Edinburgh Fringe 2026 - Assembly Festival Bar Logistics Team

We are looking for superstar Bar Logistics team members and Supervisors!
As a Bar Logistics team member you will be responsible for ensuring our bars are set up with everything they need to serve. You will coordinate stock movements between multiple venues, accept and put away deliveries in our cellars and store rooms and work directly with the bar team to make sure drinks are flowing and customers are having a great time. We expect hard graft and an ability to work in a team with new people, creating a great working environment conducive to an amazing experience. This role requires you to be flexible and mature.
Roles are available in Edinburgh from mid to end July and roll through until the end of August to cover the Fringe Festival and other events that we operate across the summer.
Staff are required to be 18+ due to the licensed nature of our sites, and have a legal right to work in the UK, no Visas are able to be offered for these roles.
Team roles are paid above Real Living Wage at a minimum of £13.45 per hour

The Box Office Supervisor's primary role is to ensure the customer receives the highest quality service and assist in the smooth operational running of the box office, making sure staff are supported to fulfil their duties to the best of their ability.
They are responsible for coordinating the team of box office assistants daily, ensuring that they are kept up to date with internal communications, rotas, timesheets are accurate and maximizing box office sales through effective customer service, supervision and training of box office staff. You will be part of a well-trained team who have a thorough knowledge of the ticketing system and our Festival programme, have a professional manner, be a people person providing unbeatable customer service at this front-line position.

The Front of House Supervisor will work as part of the Front of House (FOH) team to manage the smooth operation of the venues and the site before, during and after shows. The role will require an ability to manage a team and be aware of expected movements of audiences and performers, facilitating the fast turnaround between shows and to be the face of Assembly to audience members and performers.
Front of House Supervisors should be experienced within a theatre environment and have experiencing seating large venues quickly and with grace, the ability to lead a team and respond in a fast paced environment is required.
We operate 5 venue hubs so need a large team of strong customer focused and team members who are confident working with the public, are bright, bubbly and approachable.

Edinburgh Fringe 2026 - Assembly Festival Technicians - Lighting, Sound, Stage Management and General Technicians

We are looking for experienced, Lighting, Sound, Stage Management and General Technicians to join our Edinburgh Team. Our venues range from 50 to 800 seats.
Roles are available in Edinburgh to build and work in our temporary theatre venues from mid July, and roll through until the end of August to cover the Fringe Festival performances. Some venues are also used for the Edinburgh Food Festival which may require a slightly earlier start date.
Roles paid dependent on experience, contract length and venue size on a tier system - between £3900 to £4400 for the build, break and operational period of the Fringe Festival.

Assembly’s Street Food stalls are an essential part of the Assembly Festival experience, they are the social areas where audiences and performers gather, adding to the energetic buzz of the site. As a Street Food team member, you will be on the front line, creating meals that bring smiles to punters faces and warmth to their bellies. This role is vital. We expect hard graft and an ability to work in a team with new people, creating a great working environment conducive to an amazing experience. This role requires you to be flexible and mature. Your focus will be on prepping for and serving meals and beverages, dealing with stock, keeping the food stalls and venue clean, working with other departments and being friendly to customers.

As a Bar Team Supervisor, you’ll be in looking after the Bars Team on the frontline of our event, ensuring that the bars teams have everything they need to have a smooth bar operation on shift. This role is vital. We expect hard graft and an ability to work in a team with new people, leadership skills, creating a great working environment conducive to an amazing experience.
Our Bar Supervisors main goal is to ensure the customer receives the highest quality service and in assisting the smooth operational running of the bar, making sure staff are fulfilling their duties to the best of their ability.
We require all our staff to be over 18 (due to Licensing restrictions), have a UK bank account, speak fluent English and have the necessary visa requirements to work in the UK. Visas are not available for these roles.
The role is paid at £15.25 per hour, paid fortnightly in arrears.

The Administration Support & Festival Reception Team will be key to ensuring the smooth running of the office and supporting the teams within it, they are front line to our management offices and will meet and greet numerous performing companies, artists and agencies.
There are two positions available and start in Edinburgh from mid to end July and roll through until 31st August to cover the Fringe Festival and other events that we operate across the summer. Start dates may vary.
Roles are paid the Real Living Wage at a minimum of £13.45 per hour, paid fortnightly in arrears. Evening and weekend work as required, you may be required to work on bank or public holiday.
Staff are required to be 18+ due to the licensed nature of our sites, and have a legal right to work in the UK, no Visas or accommodation are able to be offered for these roles.
