We are looking for Site Electricians to be part of our Christmas Team!

You will need to be used to working on outdoor events with generators and be used to getting stuck in on site as part of our site team!

Experience working with food traders, heavy mains and outdoor lighting installations a huge advantage!

Weekly Rate £850
Daily Rate for build to be agreed between the 3rd of November and 18th of November

  • Edinburgh's Christmas - Box Office/Ticketing Team & Supervisors

    You will be part of a well-trained team who have a thorough knowledge of the ticketing system and our Winter Festival programme. As a member of the Box Office team, you will be an important and skilled team member able to resolve customer queries, advise and direct customers. You will have a professional manner, be a people person and happy to gather and organise information for our customers, providing unbeatable customer service at this front-line position.

    The Box Office Assistants main goal is to ensure the customer receives the highest quality service and in assisting the smooth operational running of the box office, making sure staff are fulfilling their duties to the best of their ability.

    Roles are available in Edinburgh from Mid November until 6th of January.

    We are hiring for Box Office Team and Supervisor Roles.

    Staff are required to be 18+ due to the licensed nature of our sites, and have a legal right to work in the UK, no Visas are able to be offered for these roles.

  • Edinburgh's Christmas - Customer Service/Front of House Team

    We are looking for customer service champions to work as customer facing team members on our sites across George Street, East and West Princes St Gardens and St Andrew Square or at our Ice Rink.

    You'll provide help and information to those visiting the event and be the face of Edinburgh's Christmas, so a background in Customer Service is really valuable.

    Roles for staff start from £10.90 per hour and Management from £12.50 per hour.

  • Edinburgh's Christmas - Ice Marshals

    We're looking for keen ice skaters who are confident on the ice and have a background in, or can demonstrate customer service skills! You will be key in the effective operation of our Ice Rink on George Street, and provide help and support to those on the ice and be a part of our customer service team off the ice as well.

    Rates of pay are depending on the level of experience you demonstrate but range from £10.90 to £12 per hour.

  • Winter Festivals 2023: Accounts Assistant

    Web are looking for a top notch Payroll and Accounts Assistant who, with minimum training, can support our team during the busy Winter Festival period. Candidates will ideally have experience of working in various small business enterprise accounts as we need someone with knowledge of all areas within finance, and who is comfortable with style of work in SME.

    The role would include but not be restricted to preparing fortnightly & monthly payroll (involving lots of data, checks and spreadsheets), sales and purchase invoice input on Xero, preparing payments on online banking and other tasks. Practical experience (and excellence) in Excel is crucial as is understanding of payroll & purchase ledger.

UNIQUE ASSEMBLY

 

Unique Events and Assembly Festival have joined forces to create Unique Assembly Ltd to produce the world-renowned Edinburgh's Christmas & Hogmanay Celebrations.

 

Edinburgh’s Christmas & Hogmanay Celebrations 23/24 will run from the 17th of November 2023 until the 6th of January 2024 across several central Edinburgh sites.  We would love to have you join our team!  The various roles on offer will be updated here so we encourage you to apply early and keep an eye on the site.
